Hi Arash - I think this is exceptional photography. Amazing light and detail on the owl and the eye is fantastic. I can't make up my mind about the bg yet. It is beautiful and smooth but a tad too dark perhaps. Not sure. TFS

Gorgeous shot of an owl in flight Ari.
For me though the BG is rather overwhelming. A bit too dark - it seems to absorb some of the colour and definition of the owl.

Super owl shot. The pupils are HUGE!! :D Lovely and sharp around face area and good details all round

As with the other comments, am also in two minds about the background.

Thanks guys for comments but I personally like the BG here which shows the last light when the owls hunt, it's a part of the mood with owl's pupils wide open.

No two minds for me here....I stand in awe at this image. If I were hard pressed to offer one small thing, it would be that I wish the near wing was fully down, but realize that it is the way it is for flight direction.
The eyes and background are mesmerizing.

Mind-blowingly cool. I think its really pushing the forefront of the camera technology with the technique and vision into a great work. The eye and the catchlight is amazing. And I love the color of the whole photo.

Stunning. I love the color, bird and bg alike. Fabulous technique as usual, but this one adds a level of interest because of the wonderful last light.

Spectacular, Arash! So many things have to come together to get a shot like this and you seem to pull them off with ease!
Amazing, not much else to say.

Love this one, esp those dilated pupils in that killer low light.

Arash, this is stunning. Love it. I'm amazed that you opted for ISO-2000 and 1/3200 at last light, but it worked well here. The large pupil is just amazing and the light and BG all added up to one stunning image. Loi

You have such confidence in your PP prowess, you really are setting new standards in Avian photography.
Most would not even try in this light and you made a masterpiece.

I really love this one. Having a single color dominate the frame with the eye standing out as a focal point makes for a wonderful affect. The only thing I would change if this were my photo is to crop in slightly to eliminate some of the room behind and above the owl (since the direction of action is to the left and down, it feels like there's a bit of dead space above and behind the owl). Other than that, everything in this image works great.

    Fantastic work, Arash.
