    Made this morning on the Fundy Coast of Nova Scotia. D7000, 300 f4 AF-S + TCE14ll, hand held from car window.

    ISO400, 1/500, f8.0. Basic crop, levels, nr and selective sharpening in LR and PSE. I lightened the eye a little, and removed some poop from the rocks.

    nice catch while he was preening. there is something totally wrong with the image though, the IQ is really poor as if it was shot with a cell phone or if it were a water color painting... you need to process again

    Hi Richard - I like the pose. I agree that something is looking unnatural. The IQ on the bird is not great and the LHC rocks show clear areas of unnatural texture and almost OOF patches, I suspect it is where you cloned away some poop.
