    Lovely colors and perspective. As always with this species I would recommend de-SAT-ing the red eye and darkening the pupil.

    A very appealing image, Alexander. Love the smoothness of the water and the way the colors compliment the bird. Nice head angle and eye contact. I wonder if it could go a little lighter overall and maybe you could lighten up the throat area which appears very black on my monitor. Well done.

    To me this is really an appealing image. Note Artie's comment on the eye, but I really like the shallow depth of field in this image and the low angle. Usually an image with the horizon splitting the center looks off balance to me, but not in this one. Such a clean foreground and background, rich, deep colors and the soft reflection... What's not to like? Great job!

    Very dramatic image. Very beautiful. I agree with Artie's suggestion on the eye.
