Another one from our family cottage on Lake Huron. Slightly cropped and split-toned using Photokit blue/gold preset. The image was pretty flat so I upped the contrast with curves.

Very nice! I love the detail in the water. Looks like a slight amount of motion blur, just to tease the viewer!

Beautiful tones, Jackie. I love the oblique lines

The blue/gold tones are beautiful. Love the smooth blue lines on the unbroken wave and the contrast of the golden/whitish lines of the breaking wave. Great composition with the diagonal line of the blue wave anchoring all the other details.

Very nice, love the soft wave of water in the shadows with the starker gold, you can really feel the sunlight.

newbie, asking lots of questions about processing types.... Where does photo kit blue gold come from??

Thanks for the comments everyone, Linz. Photokit is a program by Pixel Genius, and developed by the late Bruce Fraser (among others). He was considered to be a Photoshop colour guru. There is a good link here that explains what Photokit does. http://www.johnpaulcaponigro.com/blo...kit-sharpener/ It says in the review that it was licensed by Adobe and some of its modules were incorporated by Lightroom, although they were modified. They have three different modules, Photokit, PhotoKit Colour 2. and Photokit Sharpener. The split toning module I used was in Photokit Colour 2, under split toning. Anyways you can download trials for two weeks and give it a try. Hope this helps.
