Hi Jim Lucky you were !! These guys are fast !!!! I like the pose and pleasing setting. Would suggest to crop from the back and bottom to minimize the rock and move the bird back in the frame. Would like more room form the beak to the edge of the frame !!!
The area behind the head looks a little funny Not sure if something was cloned form back there? Would also give it another pass of a noise reduction program !!! Always a treat making a good capture of a warbler !!!!
Warblers are tough, no doubt about it. I've not had the pleasure of seeing one of these in person yet. I like the bird's pose, but think a little more sharpening, particularly around the eye, would be beneficial. The BG is nice but could stand some noise reduction; the noise is missing in a few spots, and I think that's what Al is seeing. The perch appears to have been significantly burned to deal with bright white rocks; it looks a little strange on my screen. I agree with Al about the crop. Thanks for sharing, and look forward to seeing more of your warblers.
