Beautiful detail and pose, you turned dull light into soft light (not easy), the greens are just right and the hint of warm tones in the BG is a very nice touch.

The negative space above is definitely something to keep for the magazine cover (!) but for web presentation, I think I'd crop a little from the top. Sometimes the "rule of fifths" works well, to move the center of attention a little higher in a frame where the BG is not offering a balancing element up there.

Love the IQ, pose and HA. The matching BG is a nice bonus.

Hi Gail, I enjoyed your previous image of this thrush, and this is even better with the better HA as you have already mentioned. Well exposed and sharp, and the BG definitely compliments the thrush. Comp wise, for this post, I would take off the top and RHS. For your next magazine cover, the space on top is just fine.

Love both images you have posted of this species. I do see this being a little warmer.

I like this even better than the last. Wonderful color palette, pose. I could also imagine this just a little warmer, or perhaps less green.

Gail, simple and gorgeous! The "splash" of green is a nice touch to an already outstanding image.
