    Default Hello from Patagonia

    Hello guys!
My name is Emanuel and i'm from Argentina, in Patagonia to be precise. I live in a city called Rio Gallegos that is 375 miles North from Ushuaia. Luckily this is a great spot, not only for shore birds and migratory birds but also beacuse i can do 186 miles and i'm in the Andes
The worst part of living in Argentina is that a used 400mm f/2.8 costs 15 grand! but it's something we have to deal with

Hi Emanuel, I have been travelling to Argentina for that past 20 years and in the early days we used to land at Rio Gallegos on our way to Ushuaia. I am also a colleague of Guy Morrison who has been working on the Red Knots in your area for many years.

I was just photographing Red Knots the other day and thinking about where they would be going in the next few weeks!

Big welcome to BPN and I really look forward to seeing some images from the stunning landscape you live in.

We were talking about Guy the other day while we were making some decisions in the conservation group.
