    Default Wet Lips

I do a lot of off camera flash floral photography (in addition to birds and landscapes which is where my photo passion began). Whenever I do this type of photography, I really try to capture a certain level of depth to the image, similar to a sculpture.

This was captured this after a recent storm we had here, in a flower box in front of my condo unit. One of these days I need to frame one of these to give to man that generously plants my subjects. I don't think I've even ever showed him a photo, as he doesn't own a computer.

    Thanks for taking a look.

    Original Capture Date/Time: 2008:04:29 166:23
Make: Canon EOS-1D Mark II N
    Model: Canon
    Aperture: f/14.0
    Exposure: 1/800
    ISO: 200
    Focal Length: 63/1

    Love it!

I like the shadows and the light areas, the shadows give it a nice definition. The water drops take this over the top. The black background is a plus here also. Really nice image Ed!

Hey Ed, very nice dramatic lighting and the water drops add a nice touch.

Beautiful Ed, love the dramatic lighting.

For me there is too much empty space on the top and bottom.

Also the black density in the bottom of the frame doesnt match the top of the frame.

Lovely lighting on this flower Ed but agree with Robert on the amount of dense shadow top and bottom.
