    Default Mother & Cubs

I have just returned from a fantastic 4 days at Londolozi, where we had some of the best game viewing and photography Africa has to offer. We followed this young female leopard and her 2 cubs for some time, their relaxed nature and complete disregard to our presence allowed us to captured some great images and interaction between mother and cubs.

A clear one. Good & sharp focus on the eyes.

Great shot Brendon, it must be my monitor at work but the kittens look slightly oversharpened but mom looks perfect. Ignore this comment if no one else notices.

A lovely tender moment between these 3, nicely depicted Brendon with a great open view.
The 2 cubs look well fed, for sure.

    Cheers

Hi Brendon - huge cuteness factor here and I love how you captured the one on the left coming out from under mom. Techs look good. No one else has mentioned this but on my monitor the highlights seem just a tad bright so if it were mine I would run a luminosity mask at about 20-30% and might also drop the yellows just slightly. More of a personal taste thing.

    TFS,
    Rachel

A beauty. A sighting we all would like to enjoy!
I agree with Rachel - first thoughts here were to tone down brights by about 15-25% using lumo mask?
    Wish it was mine, bud!

Simply gorgeous! I like the head turns of the two cubs. Good techs. Endearing family science. Loi

Hi Brendon, glad you posted this, but you took your time, LOL.

I agree, that overall the light does look strong, but the whites are held, nice interaction, but I'm trying to balance the sharpening. A tad more SS I think on this Brendon. Would loose the old tree in the BKG, a little off the RHS and perhaps a hint more FG? Just keep them there for another 9 months please.
