    Default Morning at Babcock-Webb WMA

I'm out of town for a few days with only my iPad, so I played around with some images with the iPhoto for iPad app. It has duo tone presets that are selected via a slider. By touching another button, 1 or 2 tones are added from the original. As far as I can tell, the app chooses those tones rather than any control by me. Some of the choices are very interesting, but it changes the image beyond a duo tone or even a quad-tone, I think. I did go back and de-saturate some of the tones that seemed too bright, but it's all at the experimental state for me. It was fun to just "paint" with my finger and not worry too much about exact control of details. Thanks for looking!

A gorgeous scene, well-suited to the mystical colors.

Really nice scene and I love the toning! I rarely use iPhoto and didn't know it did that!

Thanks, Diane and Judy. Judy, the iPhoto for iPad is fun, and in some ways, better than iPhoto for Mac.

Cindy, this is perfect for the theme. The toning looks perfect for the image. It's amazing what an iPad and iPhone can do (with a little help from a creative photographer)

Beautiful scene, Cindy, I love how the toning adds this mysterious quality to it. I especially like the appearance of the sky. Well done!

Cindy, this is really cool and works just fine for the theme in my book. The tones are unique and interesting and I find the scene to be almost pre-historic in its look. I could picture a nice dinosaur or two out there... Having fun with images is what its all about!

Thanks so much for all of the comments, everyone. Very much appreciated. My apologies for my delayed response. I've been out of town with limited connectivity, but plan to get up to speed ASAP.
