    Nice Gila Woodpecker. Looks like flash was used but maybe not. Slight head turn towards you would have been beneficial. The grass in the BG coming out of the back of the bird is a bit distracting.

    I agree about head turn and grasses. Otherwise beautiful image :-)

    Excellent technique - sharp, well exposed and composed correctly. I agree with the others on the grass and head-turn.
