Awesome image Sanjeev - excellent details and pose - and there is a nice sense of environment here as well

    Sanjeev,
Superb image of nice looking bird with nice HA in babitat. I like the feathers on neck, nice lights and colors.
If mine ,would crop on the top and in front of the bird.

    Regards,
    Satish.

I like the pose and eye contact. While I also like the included habitat, I agree with Satish's suggestion to crop a little tighter. I wish the long blade of grass wasn't arching across the bird's body.

I like the wind swept look and the splayed, raised crest feathers I agree with Doug about the long grass that intersects with the bird.
I would crop from the top and right.

Terrific IQ on the subject, and I love the sense of grassy habitat. I like the crop option suggested, and I would eliminate the scraggly grass almost touching the bill. Well done Sanjeev!
