On the same stretch of beach where I took the old jetty image are three cement piers slowly being claimed by the sea. I was in a hurry when I set up on this pier as the light was fading fast so I was not able to fully explore compositional angles and really did not get to works this the way I would have liked cannot wait to get back there and try some of the pre visualized compositions I've been thinking of.

Canon 6D, 17-40 f/4 at 17mm, 25s at f/22, Manual Mode, Evaluative Metered, ISO 400, Tripod, Cropped and usual ACR, PS, and Nik adjustments single image this time which was a mistake as I would have liked more detail in the shadows

Another nice one. I see what you mean that there may be options here that are much better, but it needs time for preparation and setup (the tides are also a factor?).
I find it a tad dark in the immediate FG and midground, but be careful of making it look "fake" when you do adjust...
Nice colour palette and I like the silkiness of the water!

Hi Don, love it as is, especially the smoothness of the water. Beautiful work!
