Hi Geir - Great low angle you achieved with good details in the white feathers. I like the "foot-up" pose and the colored ?rock on the RHS adds nice color to the image. I am not sure about the comp, maybe a bit less OOF FG and lower the position of the subject in the frame or go back to 3:2, IMO it feels as if this guy needs some space to lift his head. IMHO.

    Geir:

Sharp and nicely exposed, with interesting action, red rock does give the image a punch of color.

I am a fan of pano crops, but would go with Hennie's thoughts here. Subtract a bit from the bottom, and add it to the top.

    Cheers

I don't mind the pano crop, but I do like the idea of taking some off the bottom and adding some up top. The bird looks great and I like the rock, which serves as a visual anchor.

Lovely image Geir - love the raised foot, red rock and High-key look to this.
If it were mine, I'd rotate heavily CW. I'm not a fan of "angled" horizons like this - just a personal thing - but I still love it!
