    Default Lesser Yellowlegs Standing Tall.

This fella (or gal) is looking quite tall due to the low angle approach I took! Despite how clean the beach was at this area I still managed to get darn muddy...oh the joys of fall shorebird migration

Canon 7D + 500mm f/4 II + 1.4TC, manual exposure, evaluative metering, 1/320s., f/5.6, ISO 800, natural light, handheld, a couple of oof blobs cloned out in the BG (at mid-leg height), darkened pupil, lightened iris, small crop for composition.

Dreamy mood with lovely pastel colors. Pleasing striding pose tops it off.

Clean and lovely image. I love that dreamy graduated background, your low angle, the soft colors, and seeing the foot. Wonderful work.

Another gorgeous shot of the shorebird migration. No green in this shot - what's up with that?! :)

As mentioned above it has a dreamy feel to it. The gradient background is killer. You always seem to pull out just the right amount of detail without overdoing it.

Just a lovely image of this species. It's embarrassing to state that I have absolutely nothing in my files for this species! The raised foot and diffused light make this one for me.
