Looking through old negatives (15-20 years old), I found this badly damaged image. After extensive cloning, it still looked pretty shabby. I then tried a bit of Simplify... Do you think it works?

    Mitch,

Greetings. Wow, that's great! I would be very pleased if some of my old damaged negatives turned out like this... I've worked on a few (a lot older) ones, but didn't think of Simplify... I'll have to try that.

Back to the photo... love the expression and color. Nice to see a portrait here. Good show!

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Yes, I definitely think it works. The softness of Simplify is great for this, showing the lovely interaction of the little girl and the cat. Well done.

Works for me too Mitch, it is a lovely image and a treasured memory I'm sure. The processing makes the image look fresh and new to me. I love the material in her little smock.
