    He was one of the mating pair that we saw. I have some shots of the pair in action, but will post it later. He was resting after his rendezvous with her!

    Hi Sanjeev - this is one of those shots that to work in my opinion needs to either have the lion looking back at you or needs to be sharp all the way through. For me, it doesn't work with the rear so prominent but oof. I would have gone with a higher ISO and stopped down to increase the dof. Detail looks good, except for some of the whites on the chin which look like they were recovered. If it were mine, I would reduce the reds slightly. Looking forward to seeing the mating shot.

    This so nearly works for me. I like it but I just need a little more contact with the lion's eyes. I would also darken slightly as I think it's a bit bright.
