I used Topaz Adjust, Artista Oil Paint, and Exposure 5 to create and black and white image and blended it in linear burn mode with the color image.

Wow! I love the colors and composition here. Those reflections are wonderful -- even the ones in the BG are fascinating if you can get a clear shot of them.

Very unique and interesting, talk about cool angles. Would love to see the original to really grasp what you have done with it.

Thanks Linz! I will try to post the original but it will be on the weekend or later, I have company coming tomorrow and my housekeeping and cooking duties will be the priority.

I always like to comment without looking at other peoples comments. I really like this image, very painterly but if it were mine I'd probably crop it at the bottom just above the horizontal stick. Others may disagree, its just my thought. Well done.

The longer I look, the more I see and like. The fg fallen tree and associated shadow provide great diagonal lines. The bg trees and their reflections add another layer. The pond scum in particular, has a painterly quality.

Thanks Paul and Gary! Paul, I like having all of the reflection of the broken tree in the image so I'll leave it in or maybe try a quick content aware fill removal.

Wonderful light, shadows and reflections. i like all of the lines and angles for the composition. Nice job with the filters for a lovely painterly effect.

Nice colours Judy and a real painterly feel. Good job with the repost.
