From a spring trip to Ft DeSoto with Gail. I was thrilled to photograph the courtship and mating routines of royal and sandwich terns.

Quite a touching moment and photograph really. I don't see how you could have composed this any more perfectly. Techs and post processing are top notch.

Beautiful and well done! I could do with a little off the top, maybe halfway to the heads -- nothing happening up there.

Nice intimate capture of these two Grace. Love the beaks touching and the fact that both have catchlights, important in Terns IMO. Exposure looks great and I like the comp you chose. Very nice. Would make a good Valentines card:)

Hi Grace, joined at the beak. Both Terns well exposed and tack sharp, and I like how both have splayed feathers behind their heads. Comp wise, I feel more room at the bottom wouldnt harm the overall image.

Another vote for a bit off the top ~10% and 5% more on the bottom.
I love that you got catchlights in the eyes of both terns.
Excellent IQ, exposure and feather detail.
I like the environment shown as well. Really adds a lot to the image,
    Gail

Beautiful scene you got here. The pano-ish comp is tastefully cropped to my eyes, and the courtship behaviour is very intimate. Even the crashing wave is at the right spot.

Nice interaction captured. Exposure and IQ are great, the surf on the water adds interest.
