This Reddish Egret, Lives at the Estero Lagoon. He has very distinctive markings. with a lot of white on his wings. It makes him very easy to distinguish
from the others. I have seen him posted numerous time in this board. Sunday morning he spent about 15 min preening on this branch. The shot I liked was cropped from portrait. and I add a little canvas on the left for comp.

That's a sweet egret pose, Robert, and I like the intent look downward, and the strip of ocean below. I'm ok with the comp, but could see a little more room above as well. Nice detail and IQ.
The whites on the secondaries looks a little hot, maybe you can tame that down.
Great IQ and color palette and the pose is wonderful! I wonder about a tiny bit more contrast or sharpening on the face and bill. (Or is it a beak? Sorry -- I'm not a birder.)
Very nice Robert. Cool looking preening pose and i like the feather detail on this one. The perch is great and the blue at the bottom of the BG looks nice. Yes to burning the secondaries a little. Very nice. One of your best!
Hi Robert, cool attentive pose probably looking at his next meal. I like both the detail on the egret and the perch. I feel your comp is a touch too squarish, so I created my version, by adding space to the top and bottom, and creating more of a vertical.
