    Great to see you back!

    Excellent shooting angle with great subject isolation. Sharp, well exposed.

    Might try to tease a bit more out of the catchlight.

    Very good to see you back Geir! I have missed your contributions. The sanderling is well exposed, sharp, I like the sand on the bill. I like the color tone of the fg and bg. Like Randy I would like to see a little more catchlight in the eye.

    I thouroughly enjoy the image, particularly the molt stage of the bird's plumage....legs are spaced nicely, and I don't even mind not seeing the feet here, I think because of the visually interesting weed debris. I think you could lighten the catchlight with some good effect yielded here.

    Absolutely super love the exposure and the surroundings compliment the bird well. Just looking at the sand was it inclined - does it need a little CW rotation?????
