Going back through some of my FL photos. I've realized I have a lot of photos in the "waiting to be edited" pile and I really want to go through those so that I can finally build some sort of website/portfolio.

This one was taken in Orlando mid May of this year. I took a closer look at the head angle because it seemed that it was parallel to the camera plane, and I think it is. However, because the eye seems to be "looking forward", it makes it seem that the head is tilted just slightly away. I'd never noticed this before and thought I would share.

I played around a bit with the crop and thought of taking a bit off the left and top. Left it as is to get some feedback.

    Shooting info:
    Nikon D800 | 500 f/4 VR handheld
    1/640 | f/5 | ISO 800

Beautiful shot Miguel! Exposure, colour, details, and cropping are spot on! This could easily be in your portfolio! I also wish the head or eye angle move tiny bit more toward the camera.

I like the layered effect of the BG and the pastel colors. As you point out, the head appears to be angled slightly away; I would have preferred the head to be pointed slightly towards you. Very nice frame!

I like the colors too. The ha doesn't bother me as it appears it is looking at something. I like your crop too.

Very nice capture. Techs are great and the HA looks fine to me. The eye is captivating and the colors really pop on this. While I like this comp, I do think a sliver off the top makes it better to my viewing.

Hi Miguel - I enjoyed the comp, colors and particularly the layer background colors which complement the image. The eye is sharp and focused; the HA is fine by me.

Beautiful light and setting/layers in the image. I really enjoy the mix of plants/grasses in the fg. Head angle is the only consideration for improvement here, and it's minor imo.

The layered background colors are sweet! Perhaps a bit off the top, or not.

Hi Miguel, I feel your comp is just fine. Love the soft light, and softer colours, and the OOF distant BG is sweet.
