I get plenty of shots that don't check all the standard BPN boxes (e.g. HA, POV) Sometimes I like one anyway -- this is a case in point. It seems to have sort of a wistful feeling to it. Comments appreciated.

I think this is a very lovely thrush portrait, Bill. I really like the feeling to this too. Sweet background, soft light, and your sharpness and detail throughout the bird are great. I would be quite pleased to have this too.

Hey Bill, nice clean image of this species. The head angle you chose here, tends to make the angle look a bit steep to me. I'd place him a little higher in the frame too.

I know what you mean Bill, and I get some of those too! I would still prefer a better HA here though, but the image does have a peaceful feel to it.

lFor me, this is very pleasing, with an artistic viewpoint in a technically well-done image. It's peasant to see a slightly different take sometimes.

Nice clean image of this species (one of the greatest North American songsters imo)...I enjoy the understory "feel" and look to the image. I personally have found this a challenging species to photograph thus far, so I would be pumped to have anything this nice. I'm doubly impressed if you pulled this one off without the use of audio or some other attractant like a bird bath/water....
