    Shot this the same morning I shot the other one I posted a few days ago. Slight crop, NR to BG, small amount of sharpening to subject. All C&C welcome.

    Hi Lyle. Thank you for the comment on my heron image. I like the smooth background. The subject is sharp with good detail; the colors match well. I like the balance created by the perch and the overall composition. Nice catch-light in the eye!

    Lovely light, Lyle. I like your comp, the expression and head angle of that kingfisher, and the deep moody background that really makes him stand out.
