    Hi Jon, I like the feeding pose, and with an open beak. Good DOF on the plover, sharp, and if this were mine, I would maybe move him back a little to the left.

    I feel your disappointment with part of the reflection being blocked.

    What a sweet bird. Just as with your dunlin post, I'd prefer a trim from the bottom as the diffuse reflection doesn't add much, imo. I'd personally get rid of that stick in the mud. Nice feeding pose and I like the background.
