    Default Last rays across windswept savannah...

    ...Savannah Sparrow that is! Created this image just before sundown and just as a sudden wind gust uplifted some of its feathers. This little guy is proving to be quite the cooperative subject. Now I'll just have to find him a natural perch to sit on:cool:

    Canon 40D + 100-400L @400mm, 1/250s., f/8, ISO400, no EC, natural light, handheld, ~80% full frame.

    I do like the little sparrows. Wonderful light and I like the "wind swept" look. To be honest....the post looks very natural for a perch.....could pass as a stump. I might be tempted to crop a little off the right.....making the perch a little smaller. Well done.

    Very nice light and great detail, Daniel! I'd like to see the little fella' a little higher in the frame.
