We have three Ruby-throated Hummingbirds that visit our feeders from time to time. The adult male comes only rarely. This one, I believe, is a juvenile male. It's been gloomy here, and there wasn't enough light to stop him in flight, but he kindly sat for a moment. I only took a few shots, figuring I would try again when it was brighter. But then the rains came and decimated the Butterfly Bush blossoms, so I may have to wait until next year. I sort of liked the way he was focused on the task at hand, but some of you will (rightly) wish for a little head turn.
