    Nikon D4, 1/800 @ F5.6, ISO 1600. 500F4, Hand held.

    This looks a little flat when converted to jpeg so I added a curves adjustment

    Nice alert pose, like the good display of his grip.

    The whites look a bit gray compared to my local birds (Michigan), but there certainly could be regional variation.

    I might be tempted to take a sliver off the top.

    Great over-the-shoulder look, and I like the perch. The repost helps, and might have gone even further to brighten the whites. Maybe a tad oversharpened.
