I will be the first to admit that he has touched down slightly away from me, but I did like how Ive captured the 'skiing' moment on the calm water. Taken early morning at my local pond at the end of July.

Perfect moment captured here Stu. I too wish it was facing a bit more towards you but that's OK as IQ, sharpness and timing make up for that!

Fantastic!! The timing is perfect. The head angle "problrm"etc is overshadowed by all the other positives.

Perfect timing! Great exposure. If you had gotten this shot of duck angling towards you this would have been a contest winner!
Looking forward to your Botswana pics!

This is fantastic, almost looks like the duck is "standing" on the water. Great wing pose and perfect exposure on the black feathers.

What a great capture Stuart. The detail and the exposure are perfect. The feet hitting the water looks great and the colors on the duck is beautiful. Man, I wish this were angled more towards us but thats for the next time ;) Nice work.

Very good exposure, the black feathers are just right. Great timing, the exact moment of touchdown is pretty neat.

    Stuart Sir,
Spectacular image of landing bird. Love the way it pops up against beautiful blues.Great IQ, beautiful colors and sharp details in blacks.
I like the pink beak and white ring around the eye.

    Regards,
    Satish.
