Excellent pose and environment. I would take about two inches off of the canvas at the top, if it were mine.

This is lovely, and I really like the composition with the log and reflection.

With many images I often think there is too much "empty" room on top, but for some reason I don't mind it as much here, possibly because there is a pleasing amount of room on the bottom. But a thought is to run a gradient down from the top and darken it a little. That would make "something happening" up there but would not be competing with the lovely bird.

Do you have just a little more on the right? It feels a bit crowded there.

A beautiful image of a beautiful duck. Wonderful exposure and the low shooting angle is great. Very good IQ.

Beautiful colors, great subject, sharpness, low POV, and good perch. Another vote for taking some of the top. Loi

Very nice indeed. I like the space at the top, ie.composition and placement.

Sweet light and colors achieved on this most handsome of duck species. The log perch is my favorite part of the image. How pure is the bg? Almost looks repititious, or slightly post processed in a way...

I'm with Diane in that I like the comp and amount of space above here. The log looks great, almost alligator-like., and of course the subject is quite beautiful and well photographed / processed. Like Shawn I'm wondering if a bit of tweaking was done to the BG?
