    Canon 40D, 100-400L
    1/400, f/7.1, ISO 500, spot metering
    I leveled this and added canvas up top.
    Top was looking as it is now after cloning in again
    Minor adjustments in CS3

    I like the wonderful wingspread, subtle colors and mood of the light. Great job leveling and adding canvas.....you're doing well. I do see a bit of what looks like some cloning on the bottom.....just caught my eye. I don't mind the BG but I just wish that it was above...or below the heron. Others may see it differently but that was my first impression. Well done on all that you've done with this one.

    I like the wing spread and head angle on this one Bill. You have great detail on the bird. The background is ok, if youcan blend it or defuse it more, it would make your subject stand out even better. good show...keep them coming...:D
