This is very well done! The dog I showed is also a Shelby -- our grand dog.

Thanks, Diane! Your Shelby is definitely grand. Unfortunately, my Shelby is only with me in spirit, now, but we did have a grand 14 years together.

Cindy,
Greetings. I like the look (both subject and scratch). Might consider removing the few sharp bits at the top edge middle right. Thanks for posting.
Cheers,

Thanks Cheryl and Michael. Yes, I do see those bits now Michael, and I agree. I also noticed a few other places in the background that need to be blended.

A lovely portrait of Shelby and a good example of scratch art. I agree with the suggestions above.

Good job Cindy, it works really well! I would suggest painting the whole bg black except for the lower left quadrant.

Lovely portrait. Shelby looks relaxed and intelligent. I think you did a splendid job creating a scratch image!

Thanks, Paul, Judy, Kerry and Anita.
I agree that the background needs to be painted black, Kerry. I thought I had burned the areas enough when I first worked on my computer. However, when I looked at the post on my iPad, it was obvious I had not. Lesson learned.
