Hello every one! sharing one more tanager image today. Love these little birds and how the interact when they have to defend their territory from other compiting birds. This image was made at a bird feeder. I chose the perch and waited for the bird to give me a decent HA.

Beautiful Juan, I wonder if this was the blue colored bird I saw a lot during my visit to your awesome country? I think it was and you captured it very beautifully. Love the head turn and the great look at those yellowish legs.

Hi Jusn, nice bird and nice perch! Good head turn, sharpness, BG. The light looks a little hash to me. You may want to consider burning the highlights just a little. Loi

A very nicely composed image. Good textural lighting on the bird. An interesting perch - well chosen! And the co-operative bird supplied a nice pose and HA.

    Juan,

Very nice! Great choice of perch and it looks like you got the head angle you were looking for! The highlight on the top of the beak and body really helps the bird pop out even more. Wonderful shot.

This is beautiful. The bird is gorgeous. I think the curved leaves really add to the shot. Wonderful.

Hi JC, you have brought out the finer plumage on this fellow so well, and the sharpness is spot on. Striking blues, and how much more yellow can you get in legs like that. I like the leafy perch, but can also see a version with the leaves not being 'cut' off at the bottom.
