Hi Matthew. Great image. I really like the matching colours of the bird and the perch. If anything I think the business below the bird is a bit distracting.

Beautiful! Great singing pose, showing all his critical field marks. And gorgeous perch. I like him small in the frame, since the willow blossoms are so lovely, but I could also imagine a version with some additional crop. No flash is mentioned; none used?

Wonderful shot. Fantastic light and colors. I like how the bird is framed by the perch.

Lovely portrait, Matthew, and I like all the blossoms you have included, as I think it makes the framing perfectly balanced. Super complementary colors.

Very lovely bird, light, the singing pose is so special and the clean BG makes for a total winner!

Sweet pose and great detail. Love the calling. I really like the flowers on the perch... very cool and makes for a great comp. Not sure if this is a set up but if it is, then I agree about ridding of the bottom greens and moving it all down a little in the frame.

    Matthew,

Love the perch, and love the bird. Open beak, nice head angle, great catch light - all a plus. Wonderfule!

    Lovely Image Mathew.

Like the colors great light and the clean BG. The yellow flowers are perfectly complimenting the bird and its colors and the BG. Good call on F8. its all sharp. Lovely pose and open Beak.

The immediate FG and BG are a little too busy for me. I like it as presented but would like to see a version with a closer crop and just one branch and flowers (The branch the bird is sitting on). cropped somewhere near the smaller broken "V" in the branch the bird is sitting on.

    Overall a beautiful Image.
