    Default A Klingon at Alafia?

This was captured off James Shadle's boat. I remarked to James that the
wing position of this Great Blue reminded me of a Klingon battleship :)

I love seeing this bird just inches above the water.

I apologize ahead of time if the color might seem off on your monitors.
I'm doing this from my laptop while I'm in Texas.

    Tech:

    Canon EOS 1D Mark II
    Lens: 600 (non/IS) with the 1.4x.
    Shutter: 1/8000
    Aperture: F5.6
    ISO: 800
    Exp. Comp: -2/3

Hi Doug. I like it. The wing position is cool. The color doesn't seem to off, just a touch blue maybe.

There is a lot of blue in there :)

Pose, details and colors look good here. Maybe a tad more room right and bottom.

    Doug,

I did a Gray Point Color Balance and it is fine, no color cast. I like the wing position and flight towards you. Great technique with that non IS lens. Agree with more room below and front.

Nicely done, as mentioned, a little more room in front will do fine :)

Sharp as all get out. I like the pano crop and the blue streaks in the water.

    Doug,
    Klingon it is!
Very sharp and I love the water.
Your data specified -2/3 of a stop compensation. Was the image slightly under-exposed or was it perfect as posted.

    It was slightly underexposed...probably by -2/3 :)

I just did a slight levels adjustment. Thats all I did in post processing, that includes
    no sharpening.

Luckily I have more to this image, so I can fix the cropping the suggestions.

    Thanks
    Doug
