    I like the painterly effect. The flower certainly grabs one's attention. Well done.

    Very painterly, Stuart. I think you could take a little off of the bottom if you wish but it's fine the way it is.

    Very appealing. I'd agree to some off the bottom, or burn it down there. The two bright leaves, while beautiful, compete with the flower a little to much. Going darker there (but keeping the contrast low) would give more of a base for the image to rest on.

    Love the painting effect you achieved here, Staurt. The colors and pattern of the lily pads is very appealing and sets off the flower beautifully.

    I love the colors and the size of the blossom relative to the leaves. If it were mine, I'd consider removing the dead leaves in the pool - replacing with black water.

    I like the effect you have here. What was your editing? I especially like how the drops of water look on the leaves and the colors. Pleasing composition. The dead leaves are a bit problematic for me. Some people like to leave nature as it is. Thanks for sharing.

    I like the textures and the colours, the flower really pops out from the greens. I really like the placement of the flower within the frame.
