    I would get rid of the tern.

    I agree with Joe. As there is no interaction between the birds, the tern just becomes a distraction. I'd get rid of him in this image and then re-process adding some contrast to the image. The clouds add interest.

    Hi,

    My feeling is that if the tern had been in focus it should stay, but as it isn't, it's just a distraction and should go. Pelican and sky look good.

    Hi Richard, I like the high placement of the pelican, a great view for him to fish down below. The clouds certainly do add to the sky, and your repost had turned out much better.

    I prefer the repost with the tern removed which I think is a now terrific image.

    I find myself thinking the neck is a little losts where it meets the white cloud but other than this can't fault it.
