This is Michelle, our youngest of four children (she is 8 years old). after seeing the other three siblings try their hands at kayaking she wanted to try it too. At first she was very wary and quite hesitant...you know the type...the type that REALLY REALLY wants to do it but is too afraid to do it! Just as we were about to give up she decided to go for it. She was basicly turning in circles at first but she got the hang of it...and also got the "pro" look down pat pretty fast too

    Daniel:

Nice to see more of your family! I like that this image is pared down to the essentials to tell the story!

Pretty soon you will have a large crew when you go out to photograph birds!

    Cheers

Terrific photo and not just because it is your daughter (who looks great).
The look of determination, the crop, the sharpness and BG are superb.
An excellent photo for all the right reasons.

Glad to read that she summoned up her courage and had a successful time of it. (Excellent capture too)

Go Michelle Go!! That's pretty cool and I enjoy kayaking too. Nice to see you getting your kids out and active at a young age Daniel.

If the look of determination is a factor in success, Michelle will be an Olympic champion!

Cool image Dan, 100% concentration, definitely a champion in the making.

Please don't tell me you have one of the 'classic' red canoes in cedar.
