I haven't been able to post much lately as I'm swamped with day job stuff. Still, I try to pop in and comment more than I post my own. I also try to come back to my posts and comments to follow up and say thanks (hint hint) :D

I took this while out with Artie on the SW FL IPT. I was laying on my back on a dock and this guy landed just barely far enough away to focus.

Very nice composition Jim and you gotta love that look. Focus is definitely on the eyes and I like the inclusion of the cloud in the BG. Makes for a very pleasing composition. Exposure is right on too Nice capture !!

I like the head-on look, Jim. You must have good reflexes to act fast on this opportunity. Nicely done.

Thanks Grace, more like a worn out shutter and frames on either side of this one that are different :D

Great "down-the-barrel" image Jim. Your perspective created a unique look and BG. Nice work.

Great in-your-face image Jim. He definitely doesn't look happy with you.
