    Taken on the banks of the Chobe river in Botswana, from a specialised photographic boat.

    I like this picture. I do like the B/W version better. In the color version the green leaves in his mouth and the light on his back really shows. In b/w I think there is a more dramatic feeling, and background does better.
    Just my view.

    Hi Morkel - I also prefer the b&w version. For me it just has more drama than the color version.

    Beautiful shot with great colors. I like the composition. It is great to see mammal shots that also show the habitat around them.
    Also like the B&W version.

    Thanks guys. I too prefer the monochrome to this one...though I like the colours here.

    Mono outstrips the colour Morkel, it's the way to go on this image.
    Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.

    another vote for B&W. The B&W version really tells the story of the impending cloud. The color version is nice, but it doesn't quite tell the story. Loi

    I too prefer the monochrome version. It's moodier. TFS both images.
