    I was just checking out the exposure and AF when this bird landed on a nearby branch. Almost full frame, took a wee bit of the bottom and left.

    nice topside view and iridescent colors. perch and BG look good too! details look a bit coarse and contrasty, you need to apply finer sharpening

    Hi Loi, the light shows up the blue irirdescence nicely, and dont these guys have such lovely yellow eyes. I like the inclusion of the vertical twig on the right.

    That is one shiny bird, a fine exposure and comp. I like the frame of the perch, nice.

    What a wonderful image of beautiful looking starling !!. Love the pose, iridescent colors,beautiful yellow eye,perch and of course very nice composition.

    Quite the shiny one (or should I say glossy!) I love the dark feather tips along the back, way cool. I like the vertical comp, perch, BG. Too bad about the oof foliage at bottom, especially the one in front of the tail tip.

    Beautiful shot Loi. Love the color and the sheen on the bird. That yellow eye is piercing and takes me right to it. Nice pose, perch and BG, almost looks like a setup. Well done.
