These guys have a habit of not looking at you when you release the shutter.

    Thanks for looking

Awesome light here.. Well done from a row boat, I would have been in the drink in a second !

ISO800 is nice with the MKIII, almost no noise that I can see.

ISO 800 on the Mark III is SOP for me now.

Stephen, I agree they almost never look at you - go figure. Great light, wing position and with a fish.

As mentioned lovely lighting and I like the flight pose in this capture. It has the feeling of speed. and with that fish in it;s talons I am not surprised.

Good for you, from a rowboat, no less. Nice light, I'm ok with the slight look away, gives a sense that he's got a delivery to make, and is on a mission.

Great wing position, light and the fish adds to it. There is a slight sharpening halo, should be easy to fix.

Hi Juan, Please let us know what you like about an image. (See the sticky at the top of Avian here: http://www.birdphotographers.net/for...ad.php?t=10228) Thanks!

As for the image, I agree with the strong points noted above but would add that the browns, esp. of the primaries, look muddy/noisy, perhaps from too much SH/H or an originally underexposed image.

Really like the colors and the action. Could use a little more room around the subject.
