This image bugged me very much in color. I had it sitting here quite a while. Somehow it never made it up from the end in the line it was bugging me!!!!

I had it in LR5, WB and a few adjustments to my liking, finished it in PS CS6, all in color. I was not to much happy with the color version.
Silver Efex for the conversion tweaks for the Lights and darks with Luminosity masks. Cropped it to 16:9 Had to cut off all the empty blue/dark sky above the clouds.

Lens 17-40 L IS focal length at 17mm

My kind of monochrome. I love it. Wouldn't change a thing...so much to take in here (and so many inferred messages).

The moment you captured, your composition treatment of the vastness of the scene all add up to a most compelling photograph. It put my 'I Can Feel the Power' meter over the top !

Hi Anette, good choice on the format , but have you tried the RoT's, then you can place the elephants where you want, I think it gives another option. Like the bold & contrasting conversion, well done.

PS We need to talk about the location to meet and I'm not talking about a new title for the above, but NO arc.

    Hi Steve,

thanks so much. When you mean with ROT rotation. Yes I did try that with the color version, but not with the B&W. Will do.
I have a bit space left to the RHS and above dark/blue empty sky . At LHS is fini - at the edge of the image.

    Have a great evening

This is awesome - I think it needs a tiny bit of rotation, but it's stunning.
