Indian courser

Nikon D4, Nikkor 600 mm+1.4 TC.
ISO 1600, f8, 1/320.
Cropped for compo and NR to BG.
Was shooting a sitting bird and had never expected it to give this pose.
Hence the slow shutter speed.

Hi Doc, great low shooting angle, and well timed to get the raised wings. I like how his colours stand out against the flowery BG, and maybe a touch more space on the left.

I really like the setting for this shot. The soft BG along with a few flowers in the FG make for a nice shot. Good shooting angle too. I keep looking at those wings and thinking how large they are compared to the bird! Nice timing to get this. My only wish is that the oof flower/stem didn't cut across the front of the bird near its head. Maybe remove it?

I could not help it as it was a very low shooting angle.
I've tried to remove the stem near the head.

Excellent low shooting angle & greet timing. Lovely greens all over the frame. TFS
