Beautiful colours and an excellent pose on a perfect little perch. The DOF is just a tad short, I don't mind the tail gradually losing focus but I would have like the right leg to have been a little sharper. You may wish to consider removing the thorn which is about to impale the bird?? No big deal but it does keep drawing my eye a little bit.

Hi Greg, I like the pose you captured here - simple, but works well on the end of the angled perch. You couldnt have chosen a better BG to compliment the bird.

Excellent capture. The pose is just right and the colors in the BG are perfect for this bird! I like the thorny perch as well. So much character. Maybe remove the one thorn sticking into the bird as Jonathon mentioned. Nicely done...
