    Last time I had sushi it looked a bit different. :) I'm surprised he let you get so close. I like the crop but wish for wider DOF to have the entire bird in focus, maybe ISO 400 and f/8. The shutter speed would have been high enough (I guess). The only distraction is the OOF rock in the BG but I don't think you could have done much about it.

    Many thanks; much appreciated.
    This is pretty much full frame !!!
    It took me quite a while to 'creep up' on her while she was busy.
    I tend to shoot wide open all the time.
    Will try higher aperature in future.
    The rock was her 'breakfast table' !

    I agree with Axel....especially about the DOF. Since this is nearly full frame, you might try some closer crops. That would eliminate some of OOF areas.....thus drawing your attention to the action and away from the distractions. You did a nice job of getting that close...what a thrill.
