    I used Topaz Detail and Nik Infrared, erased off of the eye area and feet to show color, Oil Paint filter, and emboss filter, with layer masking along the way.

    I like the bits of color you left--just a touch. the thing the bird is perched on provides a good leading line into the image and to the bird. Lovely composition.

    Well processed Judy. I like the hint of colour too and the black BG.

    Thanks Anita. It's on a bridge railing made of pipe at Noxubee Refuge which was compressed by the telephoto lens.

    Nice one Judy! Your grasp of the "look" is very good, down to the little splashes of color which are sometimes used by the artists. The railing does create a strong compositional element, which you used to good advantage.

    Judy, I love the railing and think it would make a very nice abstract without the snowy. Nicely done scratch art too.
