    Default Flaming Namibian Rainfall

    Excelsior Farm, Namib Rand, Namibia

The last light of day illuminates heavy falling rain in hues of oranges, giving much needed moisture to the barren landscape of the Excelsior Farm in the Namib Rand conservancy, Namibia. The already spectacular landscape takes on an even more spectacular mood underneath epic, stormy light.

Stunning shot. The placement of the horizon in the middle works perfectly in this image. Wonderful composition and great light and colors.

    Terrific color and mood.
It makes me long for a stitch, I want to see more on the right!
You can post 1200 wide, would love to see it larger.

One of your best. Exceptional colour palette, strong composition and an amazing feeling of "you had to be there".

Hi Mark, exceptional scene and excellently executed. What really makes this image for me is the red sand with the wind ripples in it in the FG. Very well done!

The color palette is just amazing . Really the orange’s merging in with blue sky is just captivating I must say .
The harmonious sand color with green vegetation is actually complementing the overall scene. Loved it .T.F.S
