The looks on the faces are saying something, not sure what ?....bit of a character shot of these all too common birds

    Canon 7D + 500 f4.....f5, 1/2000, ISO400, no flash....cropped, slight selective sharpen and noise reduction

Not common to me, Phil! Great title. Wonderful job getting the both in sharp focus with such cute expressions on their faces. The background and light go so nicely together.

What a great "common" species to have close by. Nice detail in those whites and the perch works very well composition wise. You may want to try and remove the greenish/yellowish tones in the LHS Corellas’s tail feathers.

I love the way you have exposed this with great details on the whites
with the single perch and a great BG it sets up very nicely
That small crest up makes it interesting to the eye

Beautiful capture Phil. The techs are perfect and there is plenty of detail in the whites. I really like the perch and the awesome smooth BG showcases these two beautifully. Great job!

The two birds look comfortable with their own company and they have shed loads of character and the perch that droops at the end echoes what the birds might be thinking...like 'oh all right if you must take a picture'. The background is fabulous and compliments the bird's tones and the image is nicely exposed and aside from the techs I simply enjoyed viewing the image.

Phil, have never seen these birds before. They are beautiful. Your whites look perfect. Great shot. The only thing I would wish for is a slight turn of the right hand bird towards you or his/her mate. Loi

Thanks....amazing we have these birds by the millions and they are not liked by many, particularly farmers...yet they bring good money on the black market for OS collectors

Beautiful shot. I like the warm colors and warm light. Fantastic image quality.
Great to have both in the frame.
