Sweet subject, clean background, unobtrusive perch. My eye would like to see the bird a bit smaller in the frame and less centered.

Nice colour tones going on here Loi but a little centred for my liking and I think more DOF might have improved this to get more of the kingfisher infocus. At such a large crop I am not sure why more of the kingfisher would not be infocus.

Nice shot Loi. I like the colors and the pose with a nice HA. Looks like you got pretty close to this one as the DOF is a little narrow but I like it as it adds to the face looking sharp. Well done. Maybe adjust the comp a bit as the others have suggested.

Lovely bright looking kingfisher, i like the details and colours
F7.1 to 8 may have helped to get more of the bird in focus, the HA is nice

What a beautie and a sweet pose/ The angled perch is great and the bird looks pretty sharp to me. I think just a little more off the right and bottom would work to off center the bird.

Thank you everyone for your comments. I added a sliver of canvas at the bottom and left, then offset the bird. Hope you will like it better.
